Creative Intern
Sol de Janeiro is looking for beauty lovers to join our 2024 Summer Internship Program. Our goal is to provide an enriching and rewarding learning experience that will allow you to gain valuable opportunities to learn and grow, collaborate with your colleagues, and gain valuable hands on experience at our rapidly growing brand!
The Creative Intern will work on tasks within this project will vary from helping to curate and develop net new guidelines like interior styling by generation to updating our existing hair and makeup guidelines to be sure they are reflective of recent beauty trends, brand standards and our commitment to representing beauty of all ages, skin-tones and body-types. This role will report into the Associate Creative Director - Brand This internship is based in our New York City Headquarters. The program dates are June 4th to August 20th (12 weeks). The pay range for this position is $16/hour.

The Creative Intern will work on the following:
- Gathering swipe, preparing mood boards
- Assisting with shoot preparation as well as acting as additional PAs during shoots
- Pulling together and updating various components of our shoot guidelines.
- Ensure each task goal is clear and quickly recap next steps in own words with the requester to be sure the request is fully understood.
- Research relevant trends, topics and prepare insights in professional and concise format for sharing with the broader team.
- Integrate into team workflow and willingly jump in and help wherever help is needed.
- Self-identify when you’re ready to take on something new or see something happening that you feel you can contribute to or add value to.

Sol de Janeiro’s Internship Program requirements:
- You are a student at an accredited University or College
- You are local to the NYC area for a 12-week internship program
- You have interest in the business areas listed above with some relevant coursework, student clubs, and/or internship experience
- Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
