Educational Assistant or Performer Intern

The Reading Science Center is currently seeking a part-time, 10-12 hours a week, paid Intern for the Summer 2024 semester who would assist in offering quality hands on Science programming to students in Berks County. We are currently seeking an Educational/Performer Intern to assist with summer field trips at the center, off site programming at Reading School District elementary schools and present our Investigation Station which is run during our open hours on Saturdays ( 10-3pm ).

The Reading Science Center is a 501C Non-Profit organization located at 645 Penn Street in downtown Reading. RSC opened its doors in 2020 with a mission to foster a love for science for the Greater Reading community, especially our youth. Intern must be able to obtain all clearances necessary to work with children.
