Talent Acquisition Intern - Atlanta, GA

Talent Acquisition Intern:

Position Overview:

Novelis in Atlanta, GA has an opportunity to participate in our hybrid summer 2024 internship. The team is seeking a Talent Acquisition intern that can join the team for approximately 12 weeks. The person in this role will have the opportunity to participate in creating and facilitating interview training for hiring managers across the North America region and will be responsible for tracking recruiting best practices and industry trends for the team. Within this role, you will work alongside the Talent Acquisition team responsible for recruiting salaried positions across the US & CA. This is sure to be a great opportunity to become familiar with corporate and technical recruiting across functions and business units. 

Responsibilities:

  • Help create effective training materials for Talent Acquisition and other key stakeholders 
  • Dive into market practices, talent insights, and industry trends to help educate business leaders
  • Research, develop, and assemble best recruiting and hiring practices to be added to TA (Talent Acquisition) Academy
  • Research and establish connections with universities and student groups
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of recruitment templates
  • Build strategies to enhance our employer brand, highlighting our organization’s values, culture, and opportunities
  • Assist in creating a hiring manager training focused on interviewing best practices 
  • Refresh and revise our Talent Acquisition SharePoint site with relevant and useful materials 
  • Suggest improvements and efficiencies for reporting and sharing TA data/metrics 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University
  • Must be a Junior or Senior
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Experience using PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer students majoring in Business Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Psychology, or related studies 
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
