Digital Fundraising Coordinator

Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York — plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care.  Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates,


Summary:
 

The Digital Fundraising Coordinator will proactively identify opportunities to grow our donor base, with a strong focus on building a dedicated community of sustaining donors and grassroots fundraisers through expansion and maintenance of a thriving social media presence promoting peer-to-peer fundraising, third-party giving and point-of-sale campaigns. The Coordinator will also provide support to events across the hospitals of Nuvance Health. 

Responsibilities:
 

  1. Promotes, implements and manages Peer-to-Peer fundraising initiatives. 
  2. Supports and cultivates fundraising participants in peer-to-peer events, including coaching teams, top fundraisers and volunteer leaders to exceed fundraising targets. 
  3. Prospects, solicits and stewards Third Party fundraisers in the community including maintenance of customized fundraising websites. 
  4. Assists in coordination of fundraising, cultivation and stewardship event activities; manages responses – RSVPs and donations – to all Foundation events and receptions; generates event-related reports.
  5. Suggests and implements new features to encourage philanthropic support from individuals online, social media sources, and deliver creative content (text, image and video). 
  6. Reports monthly statistics for social media event engagement and suggest ideas for optimization. 
  7. Assists with phone and office reception coverage as needed.
  8. Maintains and models Nuvance Health values. 
  9. Demonstrate regular, reliable, and predictable attendance. 
  10. Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience Requirements: 

Education Bachelors’ Degree preferred. A combination of education and experience may be accepted as equivalency. 

• Strong and proven ability to communicate effectively and tactfully online. 

• Expert understanding of nonprofit online fundraising and marketing best practices. 

• Demonstrated knowledge and use of digital, social media & emerging online channels. 

• Ability to work independently and remotely in a fashion that maintains strong and open lines of communication with supervisor and colleagues. 

• Significant organizational skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with keen attention to detail. 

• Propensity for innovation and the pursuit of improvement. 

• Strong understanding of web analytics and related platforms (example: Google Analytics) preferred. 

• Experience with social media management, website design, and Photoshop preferred. 

• Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge preferred. 

• Experience working in healthcare setting, multi-hospital network preferred.

Work Shift: M-F 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Salary Range: 

$20.2266 - $37.5564 Hourly, based off experience and internal equity
