Job Summary

 

The Human Resources Coordinator for Compensation will perform administrative work in support of Human Resources classification and compensation functions to optimize staff talent acquisition and maximize employee retention.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Responsible for day-to-day operations of the unit

• Serve as the first point of contact for the HR ticketing system Compensation Administration queue; escalate complex problems to HR leadership

• Develop and/or update position descriptions

• Lead the OneUSG transaction process for position management

• Conduct research on job specifications and compensation trends, and develop reports to make recommendations for compensation within pay structure

• Stay abreast of changes in technology; ensure mastery of HR systems (i.e., CompAnalyst and Job Architecture and OneUSG) to perform assignments, and make recommendations to promote continuous quality improvement

• Ensure understanding of processes, policies, and procedures for consistent implementation and delivery of programs and services

• Audit MasterBCAT spreadsheet regularly to ensure alignment with Job Code Table in OneUSG

• Monitor OneUSG to ensure Non-Person Profiles reflect accurate position descriptions

• Assist in the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures

 

Required Qualifications

 

Educational Requirements

 

• Bachelor's Degree OR Six (6) or more years of related work experience

 

Required Experience

 

• Two (2) or more years of related work experience

• Experience conducting research and analyzing data

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

Preferred Experience

 

• Experience working in Compensation

• Experience working in higher education

• PHR or SHRM-CP certification

 

Proposed Salary

 

$17.55 - $23.08 per hour

 

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
