Marketing Program Specialist

 

Location: Remote, U.S.

 

Position Summary

As the Marketing Program Specialist, you will work with the Marketing Program Manager to aid in the execution of global marketing plans.

 

Supporting the Marketing Program Manager, who is responsible for management of the schedule and execution of marketing plan activities, you will help manage coordination of plan deliverables among team members as well completion of plans on time within budget and within scope. You will use Marketing’s project management tool, Workfront, to document the Program and Campaign responsibilities, schedule and timeline and monitor and report on the status of Programs and Campaigns to key stakeholders.

 

You will have the opportunity to work closely with many teams within the Marketing department, including Regional Engagement, Event Marketing, Event Planning, Digital Marketing, and Brand and Content Services as you ensure that work being completed is aligned to achieve the goals and objectives outlined in the Marketing plan.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Program Manager in aiding Industry Marketing Directors and Product Marketing Managers in the planning and execution of the Marketing Plan.
  • Use Marketing’s project management tool, Workfront, to support project management of programs/campaigns and projects within the Marketing Plan:
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
    • Monitor and track the progress of activities to support Marketing programs and campaigns.
    • Measure project performance using available tools and resources.
    • Manage relationships with external vendors and stakeholders.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    • Support the Engagement and Digital Marketing teams in tracking program/campaign performance.
  • Support the Marketing Program Manager in Marketing Budget development, management, and reporting.
  • Manage contract approvals, artwork creation, deadlines, and invoice payment for marketing activities.

 

Requirements

  • Education: BA in Marketing or related field, or relevant experience or certifications
  • 1-2 years B2B Marketing experience
  • Strong writing and communications skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
  • Time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
  • Experience with project management software a plus, but not required.
  • This role does not require travel.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).
