Equipment Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the overall operation, safety and distribution of equipment to players, coaches and staff.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fitting of all essential football equipment to ensure each player meets the highest
    safety standards as directed by the league and the training staff.
  • Responsible for the purchase of all new equipment, clothing and supplies.
  • Continuous monitoring of equipment and clothing inventory.
  • Ensures that all uniforms, clothing and equipment are maintained, cleaned and repaired to the highest standards.
  • Direct and manage the budget for equipment department.
  • Oversee the logistics associated with the packing and transportation of equipment for road games.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified by the Athletic Equipment Managers Association
  • Experience working with elite athlete populations (i.e. Division I Collegiate, Olympic, professional level athletes)
  • Must complete annual Continuing Education Units (CEUs) on relevant topics

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to reach, bend, climb, and lift on a frequent basis.
  • Operates in a professional office environment.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment.

SUPERVISED BY: Executive Vice President / Director of Football Operations
