Creative Marketing Intern

The Bleecker Street Creative Marketing Intern will gain exposure to all aspects of creative advertising for film at a fast-paced, creatively dynamic studio marketing department. The Creative Marketing Intern will work with both Marketing and Creative departments--respectively responsible for creative advertising, traditional media buying/planning, social media, digital outreach, promotional tie-ins, research, and company branding initiatives; and film’s trailers, TV spots, digital AV creative, and print creative.

 

This internship is tailored for students with a desire to learn about domestic advertising and film marketing, their function in the studio system and reaching audiences of multiple demographics. As well as creating AV and print materials for film marketing. This internship is designed for a candidate who wants “hands-on” creative experience.

 

 

Responsibilities include: 

 

  • Learning how to create custom media campaigns and their supporting creative elements, helping to oversee social media postings on all Bleecker Street platforms and the creation and implementation of marketing materials. 

 

  • Responsible for tracking and researching marketing campaigns and projects.

 

  • Assisting the President of Marketing and Creative Advertising by doing junior level creative services work. 

 

Interns will report directly to the President of Marketing and Creative Advertising and will be supervised by the Marketing Assistant.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Bleecker Street interns must make a 90-day commitment and must be authorized to work in the U.S. They must commit to at least two full days per week (Monday, Wednesday or Thursday) and be enrolled at an accredited college or university, working towards an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Interns must be at least 18 years of age and be a standing sophomore or above. Candidates should possess Mac computer skills and experience in Adobe Suite with a deep understanding of Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Intern Candidates should show initiative and be open to learning. They must have in place a reliable way to commute to and from the office, work well in a professional office environment, and – last but not least – have a passion for movies.
