Talent Acquisition Intern

Job Summary

As a Temporary Talent Acquisition Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the initial evaluation of job applicants' resumes to identify potential candidates for various positions within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

Resume Review:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of incoming applications and resumes to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and skills.
  • Use predefined criteria to determine the suitability of applicants for specific roles.

Application Tracking:

  • Utilize the applicant tracking system to manage and organize resumes efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information in the recruitment database.

Communication:

  • Communicate with candidates regarding the status of their applications, providing timely feedback on their qualifications.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers to schedule interviews for shortlisted candidates.

Criteria Evaluation:

  • Understand the specific requirements for each position.
  • Evaluate resumes based on job-specific criteria and qualifications.

Data Analysis:

  • Compile and manage data related to the recruitment process, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.

Compliance:

  • Gain an understanding of and ensure compliance with company policies, equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations, and other relevant laws during the pre-screening process.

Qualifications

Education and Training: (or equivalent)

Must be a junior or senior majoring in Human Resources.

Minimum Experience:

One year of recruiting or prescreening experience, internship or coursework in human resources or a related field is advantageous.
