Graphic Design / Social Media Summer Intern

Rubicon Talent is a sports marketing agency based in New York City that represents high profile professional and collegiate athletes, legends, broadcasters, and media personalities. We are seeking an ambitious and hard working intern to join us for an in-person Summer Internship from May - August 2024.  

Required Experience:

- Adobe Creative Cloud to create high quality, visually appealing graphics

- PowerPoint or similar tool to create high quality, visually appealing deck presentations

- Social Media experience: ability to follow trends on all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X) to increase engagement and following 

- Basic sports knowledge and interest in working in the sports industry (primarily football and basketball) is required. Industry experience a plus

- Strong communication skills 

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment 

- Ability to manage several tasks / projects at once and meet quick deadlines 

- Eager to grow and take initiative. Proactive work style 

Our ideal candidate is someone who has extensive experience using Adobe Creative Cloud and is capable of making high-quality graphics and deck presentations in addition to understanding social media and relevant trends. This person should have a strong affinity for sports and working in the sports industry. Relevant experience and knowledge of major sports, primarily football, is expected. The Graphic Design / Social Media Summer Intern will be responsible for managing Rubicon Talent's social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X) and helping us to grow our following in addition to working with our clients on helping them bolster their online presence as well. This includes creating visually appealing graphics to highlight major accomplishments and new clients in addition to updating sales materials and pitch decks.  Expect to balance multiple projects across various disciplines of the agency and gain experience working with a wide variety of agency employees / clients. 

This is a paid internship (~ $16/hour) and we expect this person to be in the office Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm in New York City.
