Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as a QA Engineer Intern.   As a QA Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance processes within the context of our innovative health and wellness platform.  You will assist in manual testing for web and mobile products, as well as help with automation testing for the products.  You will work closely with InsideTracker development and product (UI/UX) teams to test, release, and maintain new features without compromising quality.


Responsibilities:

  • Use, develop, and maintain test cases and test plans for all user flows of InsideTracker products.
  • Report bugs discovered during manual and automated test runs through Jira issue tracking application.
  • Work collaboratively with other QA Engineers, UI/UX team and Developers.
     

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing, or recently received, a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
  • Familiarity with QA tools and techniques (e.g., test case management, bug tracking)
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of quality assurance and software testing
  • Comfortable with working in small, fast-moving companies with “just enough” processes.
  • Love to break sh*t for a living.
  • Nice to have but not required:  experience with Selenium, Selenide, JMeter, Postman, SQL


Duration:

This is a summer internship position with the potential for full-time or part-time hours. The amount of hours and length will be discussed with the candidate based on availability and business needs.
