Email Marketing Manager

About the role:

As the Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing email marketing strategies to drive engagement, conversions, and revenue growth for both internal and external audiences. You will leverage marketing automation tools to deliver targeted, personalized email campaigns across various customer segments. This role requires a deep understanding of email marketing best practices, data analysis, and customer segmentation techniques.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, launch, test, optimize/improve, and analyze different marketing automation campaigns.
  • Pull, clean, update and optimize database contact records/lists in CRMs and in other systems.
  • Drive smart cross-sell, win-back, churn reducing campaigns with proper KPI measurements in place to show their effectiveness and key learnings for continued optimization; present these KPIs daily, monthly and quarterly vs relevant time periods.
  • A/B test different campaigns for learning and optimization.
  • Collaborate with design for better branded, interesting content in our comms and with other marketing members for broader campaign support.
  • Work with development teams to help tag, track, organize, display relevant data and KPIs you manage.
  • Work closely with senior leaders on daily basis on immediate messages that need to be relayed to “the field.”
  • Ability to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Find new ways to reach our targets (text, intranet posts/CRM messages) inside and outside of marketing automation.

 

Education requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field and 5 years’ experience in email marketing. The applicant should be knowledgeable about Marketing techniques, and the importance of brand standards and must be beyond proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), CRM, Marketing Automation Software and databases and domain authority management.

 

Skills, Licenses, Certifications

 

  • Mastery of the English language and grammar; excellent verbal and written communicator; must be able to convey ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • GoogleAnalytics experience
  • CRM certified preferred (ex. Salesforce, HubSpot or other)
  • Fluent in Spanish a plus
  • Marketing Automation Software (at least one certificate ex. HubSpot or Marketo or other) certificate a must; especially in the area of complex drip and “journey” campaigns and ability to tag/track CTAs for performance management
  • Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy; exceptional attention to detail and timeliness for cultural relevance
  • Superior interpersonal skills; must be able to deliver developmental feedback in a way in which it is well received
  • Excellent independent judgment and decision making
  • Understanding of Brightway systems; regularly updates activities accurately
  • Ability to learn, embrace and put into practice new concepts and skills
  • Superior ability to manage own time, activities and resources; models behavior for others
  • Team player; must be able to contribute to the team and rely on others to achieve objectives
