Surgical Associates at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated full-time General Surgeon to join our esteemed practice. Our facility boasts a collaborative and supportive environment, where you will work alongside experienced providers, including 1 MD, 1 DO, and 1 PA-C.

At NVRH, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive range of general surgery services within our state-of-the-art facility, conveniently located within your community.

The General Surgeon will be responsible for performing a variety of general surgical procedures, including, skin lesion excisions, gall bladder removal, hernia repair, advanced laparoscopy (including colon resection), endoscopy/colonoscopy and ideally breast biopsies. Daily caseload typically ranges from 6-10 cases or 15-18 outpatient visits, Monday through Friday, with shared call duties (1:3). Vascular surgery is not included in this role.
