Online STEM Instructor
Are you looking for a part time job for the summer? iD Tech is hiring over 100 instructors to teach and inspire the next generation of STEM innovators. We’re seeking talented individuals to mentor kids ages 7-18 in a fun, dynamic learning environment.
The Details:
- Lead virtual tech camps or online private lessons.
- Mentor the next generation of coders, game developers, digital artists, mathematicians, and entrepreneurs.
- Work a part-time schedule that is 100% remote.

The Pay:
This position pays $16/hr except in the following locations:
- California: $17/hr unless minimum wage is higher, in which case pay rate will be compliant with minimum wage.
- Employees in areas outside of California that have a minimum wage higher than $16/hr will be paid an hourly rate compliant with minimum wage.
This position is eligible for 401(k) once eligibility requirements are met and other benefits as required by state or local law.
An iD Tech instructor:
- Is passionate about teaching technology to kids and teens.
- Is a flexible team player with strong communication skills.
- Has a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
- Will be at least 18 years old before their first day of work.
Qualified applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the following areas:
- Programming in Java, Python, C++, C#, or JavaScript
- Machine Learning
- AI
- Data Science
- Digital Video Editing
- 2D or 3D Video Game Design
- Game Development
- Game Modding
- Character Modeling
Preferred qualities:
- Teaching or tutoring experience.
- Experience volunteering or working with children.
- Customer service experience.
