iOS and Android App Developer Intern

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated iOS and Android App Developer Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to create and enhance mobile applications that play a crucial role in providing our users with seamless access to our platform's features and services.

Location:

Remote or Hybrid in our headquarters in New York City , with a preference for hybrid candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop, test, and deploy robust and user-friendly iOS and Android applications.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and performance of the applications.
• Continuously research and implement best practices, emerging technologies, and industry standards to enhance app functionality and user experience.
• Assist in the maintenance and optimization of existing applications, including bug fixes and performance improvements.
• Contribute creative ideas and solutions to improve the overall design and functionality of our mobile applications.
• Implement data scraping techniques to gather relevant information from external sources to enhance our platform's offerings.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Swift for iOS development and/or Java/Kotlin for Android development.
• Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks such as SwiftUI, UIKit, and Android Jetpack.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and other web services integration.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, UI/UX design principles, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for learning and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or project experience in iOS and/or Android app development.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Firebase) and mobile app analytics tools.
• Experience with data scraping techniques and tools for gathering information from external sources.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
