Job Description:

We fly drones and need an (equally awesome) video editor to help during post-production!

 

As a Drone Life Video Editor, you will be responsible for handling post-production processes, working with aerial footage and imagery to produce informative and eye-catching videos for our client projects, marketing initiatives, and social media channels.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be an integral part of the production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production stages.
  • Editing video footage and imagery to create compelling, high-quality edits for projects, including but not limited to YouTube, YouTube shorts, client videos, brand videos, explainer videos, product promotions, social media videos, etc.
  • Collaborating with TDL staff to understand the needs of the company and provide the best possible solutions.
  • Reviewing and selecting the best drone footage and imagery from media provided to you by TDL.
  • Ensuring that all videos produced meet the company's standards and excel in story-telling and/or promotional marketing purposes depending on the needs of each video.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest video editing technologies and trends in the industry.
  • Delivering video projects within set deadlines.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong video editing skills and experience in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of color grading and audio mixing.
  • Proficient in understanding drone technology and techniques for capturing aerial footage or a strong willingness to quickly learn the industry.
  • Willingness to accept revisions and constructive criticism.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for drones, photography, and videography.

  • Can seamlessly promote our services into each video as needed.
  • Can independently research and learn video techniques relevant to our business.
  • Access to and proficient in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficient in all major social media best practices for video creation and posting.
