Senior Human Resources Representative

Position Purpose:

Responsible for providing day-to-day support of HR activities for Hendrickson Staff and for projects that may have company-wide application.  Heavy responsibility on HRIS/HCM system maintenance and customer troubleshooting.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide system training and support to remote locations on using HRIS/HCM.
  • Act as liaison between HR, IT, Payroll, and Benefits staffs.
  • Provides back-up to the HCM Project Manager in assisting HR throughout organization         with system related issues and needs.
  • Implement new processes in the system to improve efficiencies and usefulness of system.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in how the day-to-day HRIS/HCM operations are executed.
  •  Utilize HCM to maintain and update all employee related information.
  •  Provide support on various HR processes, including performance appraisals, time off requisition, recruiting, FMLA/STD tracking, and HCM system maintenance.
  • Recruit for assigned openings, following all aspects of the established recruiting process, which includes working closely with recruiting sources, hiring managers, candidates, and interviewers.
  • Brief employees on key benefits; answers questions concerning benefit practices and policies.
  • Facilitate internal training sessions.
  • Engage in the Company-Wide Wellness Program and increase employee participation.
  • Maintain a strong customer service attitude to enhance employee relations and provide excellent service to client base.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related business filed required. Master’s Degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years HR experience, including 2-3 years' experience managing HRIS/HCM.
  • Strong HRIS/HCM skills including Oracle, ADP, and UKG/Kronos
  • Familiarity with other HCM system a plus
  • Knowledge of basic principles and practices of Human Resources.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information critical.
  • Ability to evaluate and redesign HRIS in order to meet our changing demands.
  • Must be an expert at report writing using system tools.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal and written communication skills, and advanced organizational, presentation, and training skills.
  • Some travel required.
