Business Development Internship UM

We are building a platform that empowers businesses to deliver personalized advertisements and promotions to nearby consumers, driving foot traffic and boosting sales, all while helping users save money. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Identifying, reaching out to, and pitching restaurants, retail stores/chains to onboard them onto the SavingBucks platform
- Spearheading user acquisition and brand recognition on campus
- Organize launch events on campus
- Learning and understanding a sales pitch from prospecting up to closing a deal
- Entering in data from meetings into CRM
- Prospecting new leads and contacts and entering the into the CRM
- Give input to tech changes on the app
- Opportunity to work directly with our tech development team.
- Creating content and social media posts for SavingBucks' Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, and Facebook pages
Before this role I was a sales manager at Grubhub for 3 years. I have tons of experience training new sales reps and plan to give that same experience to interns. We will dive in head first so you can get a real taste of what a sales position feels like.

Candidate Requirements
- Must demonstrate a strong learning mindset, serious work ethic, exceptional dedication, and genuine passion for this role
- Must be a social media user (including Instagram, TikTok & Linkedln)
- Must live on campus for the summer
