Marketing Coordinator - Proposals

We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator to support a busy in-house marketing department and assist with writing construction proposals. Ideal candidate is a fast learner, well-organized individual who can work effectively in a fast paced, highly collaborative, team-based environment. Must be well-rounded and willing to accept a variety of tasks. Position to be based in our corporate office, which is located in Rochester, NY.

A typical day in the life of our Marketing Coordinator - Proposals may include:

  • Executing client focused materials, including proposals, case studies, print materials, awards submissions, and presentations
  • Daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Assisting with the planning of employee and client events
  • Company branding support
  • Assistance with the execution of tradeshows and charitable contributions
  • Database entry and information control

Please note this is not a graphic designer position and this position will be in the in-person out of Rochester, NY.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Candidates must have Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited institution in related field; and/or minimum of 2 years’ equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • Must have experience in technical writing or construction proposals as well as Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus
  • Database experience a plus
  • Exquisite communication and people skills

For this Rochester based position, the expected hourly wage is $18.78 - $25.00 Per hour.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  The amount a particular employee will earn within the hourly range will be based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
