Journalist for Bibliographies (Psychology, Social, Crime Interest)

Remote Position

CQ Investigations, Inc. (Colleen Quinn Investigations & Mitigation) seeks a journalist/interview specialist professional to conduct pre-interviews/interviews. Interviews will range in topics but will have a psy/social/biography aspect. Ideal candidates should have 2+ years’ experience/coursework in media or journalism and a strong commitment to editorial standards.

Job Requirements/Info:

• The position is Remote, our physical address is in Tampa, FL
• Journalism/Media/Communications degree or equivalent job experience
• Feel at ease on Zoom camera conducting interviews. This includes instructing the interviewee on positions, lighting, surrounding noise levels, etc to conduct quality interviews
• Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and interview capabilities.
• Exhibit excellent writing, communication and research skills
• Excel in a deadline-driven environment where attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up is key
• Maintain punctuality, reliability, and willingness to work occasional weekend or evening hours. Flex hours are set by you
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Arrange interviews, help locate others to be interviewed, and keep track of data relating to interviews (contacts made, follow-ups, etc.
