Who you are: 

Under the direction of the Senior Manager of IT Operations, the IT/Facilities Coordinator is a hybrid role comprised of Boston Office coordinator, and tier 1 help desk support for our US and international staff. In the office, this person will be the first point of contact for vendors and visitors and be responsible for ensuring the office space is functioning to serve our employees. As part of our help desk team, they will also support our worldwide staff with the IT functions of our organization. Providing outstanding customer service is essential in all aspects of this position. Remote work is possible but regular visits to the office will be required. The best candidate for this job will be professional, flexible, motivated, organized, and willing to learn.
 

What you’ll do
 

  • Primary point of contact for employees and visitors to the Boston office.
  • Support employees at all levels with office-related events and operations.
  • Managing building access and security for employees, vendors, and visitors.
  • Serve as CIEE’s point of contact with our landlord/building management.
  • Assist with office events and coordination of larger meetings within the space.
  • Working with IT to ensure office functionality – printers, internet, desks, workspaces, including general office troubleshooting.
  • Assist IT help desk staff with employee onboarding and basic end-user support.
  • Other duties as assigned.
     

What you’ll bring:
 

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent degree).
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Flexibility and interest in a dynamic, team-oriented working environment.
  • A willingness to help, follow through, strong organizational skills, and a service mentality are critical in this role.

Location Requirments:

The position is available to United States candidates residing in Boston and Portland.
