Job Summary:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the community? Esperanza Community Services is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Community and Donor Outreach Coordinator. This position is instrumental in creating and implementing outreach programs, engaging the community, managing donor relationships, and advocating for our organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement: Plan and execute outreach programs, community events, awareness campaigns, and fundraising events to actively involve the community.
• Donor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, ensuring effective communication and developing strategies to enhance donor engagement. Uphold confidentiality in donor information.
• Volunteer Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for outreach programs. Maintain accurate volunteer records and ensure adherence to organizational policies.
• Database Expertise: Manage donor and volunteer records in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and utilizing data for outreach strategies.
• Communication Strategies: Collaborate in developing communication strategies, including email campaigns, social media, and other digital/print communications, under the guidance of the Director of Marketing.
• Research and Evaluation: Stay informed on community trends, conduct research on potential donors and partners, and evaluate outreach program effectiveness.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other organizational teams, including development, marketing, and program staff, to implement effective outreach strategies.
• Administrative Support: Provide additional administrative support as needed, such as event planning, meeting material preparation, and office supply maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (marketing, communications, nonprofit management).
• Nonprofit experience in community outreach and donor relations.
• Proficiency in volunteer and database management, preferably Salesforce.
• Excellent bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with social media and digital communications.
• Knowledge of fundraising principles and strategies.
