Are you ready to dive into the world of social media and turn ordinary content into extraordinary experiences? We're on the lookout for a Social Media Coordinators (Content Creators, Content Coordinators, Content Strategists/Analysts) to join our dynamic team and help shape the Study Breaks brand.

  • These duties require 8-12 hours of your time every week.

๐Ÿ‘€ Keeping a close eye on engagement metrics to fine-tune our messaging and content strategy โ€“ we're all about that sweet spot between fun and informative!

๐Ÿค Collaborating with our talented Writer, Editing, and Design teams to soak up their creative genius and bring it to life on our social channels.

๐ŸŒŸ Planning and executing social media strategies like a pro to boost brand awareness, enhance engagement, and watch those follower numbers soar.

Social Media Coordination and Content Creation Magic:

๐ŸŽจ Assisting in the creation of visually stunning, on-brand content across a variety of platforms โ€“ think Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and the ever-popular TikTok.

๐Ÿคนโ€โ™€๏ธ Juggling tasks โ€“ from scheduling and sharing our web articles to crafting posts that generate buzz and curiosity.

โœจ Collaborating with our graphic designers, illustrators, and writers to cook up content that's not just good but downright legendary.

๐Ÿ“… Sticking to the beat of our publishing calendar while scheduling and reposting content that keeps our audience hooked.

Strategy and Engagement:

๐Ÿค– Researching audience preferences and staying ahead of the curve on the latest trends โ€“ because we are trendsetters, not followers.

๐ŸŒ Managing our online community and making sure any hiccups get sorted pronto.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Analyzing social media metrics and adapting our strategies for maximum impact.

What You Bring to the Table:

๐ŸŽ“ Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field โ€“ preferred, but experience over education!

๐Ÿ”ฎ The ability to predict digital and pop cultural trends and make them work in our favor.

๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ Hands-on experience in the world of content creation and management.

๐Ÿ’ผ Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator, preferably in the pop culture/lifestyle realm โ€“ bonus points if you're a pop culture aficionado!

๐Ÿ“ฑ Expertise across multiple social media platforms โ€“ Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, you name it.

๐Ÿš€ Creativity that knows no bounds โ€“ you can whip up compelling copy text, images, and videos that align seamlessly with our brand.

๐Ÿ’ป Proficiency in SAAS platforms, including Canva, Adobe Suite, and Meta Ads (preferred, but we'll take your word for it).

CONTENT COORDINATION

  • Imagine a scenario where Study Breaks is simultaneously covering a major film release, a trending TV series, and a popular music event. How would you coordinate content across different platforms to ensure a cohesive and engaging narrative for our audience?

CONTENT STRATEGY

  • Discuss your approach to developing a long-term content strategy for the Study Breaksโ€™ social media platforms. How do you balance evergreen content with timely pop culture trends to maintain audience interest over time?

CONTENT CREATION

  • Share a detailed example of a pop culture-inspired social media campaign you would create based on an article on our site. You can dig as deep as you would like.
  • How will you tailor the content to resonate with our audience, and what are the key elements that make it successful?

CONTENT ANALYSIS

  • If tasked with analyzing the performance of our social media content, what key metrics and analytics tools would you prioritize?
  • If possible, please provide an example of how you've used data insights to refine and improve a social media strategy in the past.

In order to qualify for the internship, you must be enrolled in a college or university (A.A., B.A., M.A., PhD). ย A degree in English, Journalism, Editing or some related field is preferred, but not required.
