Haymarket Media, Inc. seeks a Studio Production Assistant to join the NACE Studios team. This position is located in our Sunrise, Florida office.

 

Role Summary: We seek a passionate and driven Production Assistant Intern to join our dynamic production team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in live, streamed, online continuing medical education productions, working with state-of-the-art studio equipment and cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master of Fine Arts Degree program in Film, Television, or a related field and possess a keen interest in technology and medical education.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of live and pre-recorded productions.
  • Support the director and producer in various stages of production, including pre-production planning and on-site execution.
  • Operate and maintain production equipment, including cameras, sound equipment, and lighting, under supervision.
  • Help coordinate on-set activities, ensuring smooth operation during shoots.
  • Assist in managing digital assets and footage organization.
  • Provide administrative support to the production team, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot any technical issues during production.
  • Participate in post-production tasks, including editing and distribution processes.

 

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Film, Television, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in live production, streaming technology, and medical education.
  • Production, equipment, and software applications such as VMIX, New Blue Titler Broadcast, and Bitfocus Companion is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs and schedules.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

 

What We Offer:

  • Location: Sunrise, FL office (two days on-site Tuesdays and Wednesdays & 3 days remote)
  • Salary: $16/hr
  • Start Date/ Duration: June 10 - August 9, 2024
  • Schedule: 32 hours a week; Hybrid; Summer Fridays
