Job Description

As an Event Coordinator/Hospitality Specialist, the person will be the ambassador of hospitality, catering to our very important attendees from Japan. The role will involve providing personalized service, anticipating needs, and ensuring that every interaction leaves a lasting impression. This opportunity will be working be located in De Soto, Kansas working directly with the clients, in person, and must be flexible with working outside of regular business hours. The available salary for this role is $50,000-60,000 USD annually.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Welcome and assist Japanese-speaking attendees with warmth and integrity.
  • Attendee management, hotel reservations, ground transportation coordination, and special requests in Japanese.
  • Offer cultural insights and recommendations to enhance the attendee experience.
  • Handle inquiries and provide feedback with patience and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain the highest standards of service excellence.

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • Prefer knowledge of Japanese Culture and language, but not required.
  • Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
