E-COMMERCE INTERN

Sandal Factory is looking for someone to help get our website up and running. We need a digital marketing person and thought there may be a graduate student that is looking for a paid internship, that could potentially become a full-time job.

Sandal Factory is retailer of footwear and apparel based in Key Largo, FL. We currently have 15 brick and mortar locations throughout the Florida Keys, Sarasota, FL , Clearwater Beach, FL, Emerald Isle, NC, Atlantic Beach, NC and Carolina Beach, NC. The company had been in existence 30 + years, is a strong profitable organization that is in growth mode.

The digital marketing associate will help build the content for the Sandal Factory website, act as liaison for the web framework builder, Teamwork (POS), inventory management, as well as obtaining digital images of products, etc. from the internal buyer group.

The qualifications we are looking for are:

CMS eCommerce Website Maintenance Essential Skills and Experience:
• CMS Expertise:
o Knowledge of CMS, e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento.
o Minimum of 2 years of hands-on work with the CMS platform.
• eCommerce Fundamentals:
o Solid understanding of online sales processes, payment gateways, and inventory management.
o Experience troubleshooting common eCommerce issues.
• Content Management:
o Ability to create, format, and publish website content (products, descriptions, images, categories, etc.)
o Attention to detail in maintaining content consistency and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications:
• Design Sensibility: Basic working knowledge of UX/UI principles and an eye for visual consistency.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
