Job Overview
The Digital Project Management Intern will assist the Digital Department in all aspects of testing, analyzing, and creating reports that will move the Digital Development Team forward in prioritizing accessibility and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) across our online platforms. The ideal candidate is comfortable with online research, understands basic HTML, provides informed recommendations, and quickly immerses themselves in emerging technology. The Digital Accessibility Intern will work remotely, with occasional in-person meetings at the Burbank, CA, office as needed.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments to assess project workloads and requirements
  • Develop comprehensive task descriptions within project management software
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and documentation for task tracking and presentation
  • Conduct quality assurance in a development environment to test new features
  • Engage in creative discussions with the team to strategize optimal approaches for website functionality

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Experience in collaborative team projects
  • A keen interest in web development processes and workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Pivotal Tracker, Basecamp, or similar platforms

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, it is regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is also required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment
The working conditions are primarily in a telecommuting setting. However, the position will require occasional meetings in our Burbank, CA, office or a nearby venue. Depending on the position, job duties, and subject to the discretion of the company, the position may be telecommuting eligible in whole or in part.
