iOS Developer Intern

Let's talk about the role

As an iOS Developer Intern, you will work directly with talented Engineers of all levels.  They will guide you in learning, designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software.  You will also assist in the testing, validation, configuration, and deployment of software applications. The right candidate for our internship will be expected to know commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development process and rely on mentorship, instructions, and pre-established guidelines to perform the job's functions.  A successful Engineer at ResMed needs to have a curious, creative, and growth mindset.  

Let’s talk about you

  • Software development academic studies that will lead to a Bachelor's or Master's Degree (Computer Science, Bio Engineering, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering or related field)
  • MUST be Senior level in academic studies.
  • Aspiring iOS Engineer with Swift experience who’s excited to work on large scale challenges with cutting edge technology.
  • Experience using common design patterns. Ability to write reusable, modularized and testable code.

It would be a plus if you have

  • Participation in Hackathons and similar events e.g. Apple WWDC Swift Student Challenge
  • Aware of the native app development tools/concepts like XCode, SwiftUI, UIKit, Git version control, etc.
  • Understanding of Apple design guidelines and experience creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Experience working with peripherals/wearables and Bluetooth is not required but a bonus.

Individual pay decisions will be made by our staffing provider partner and are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

 

Base Pay Range for this position:

$27.75 to $36.50 per hour.
