Motorola interns work on real-world projects, gain exposure to cross-functional teams, develop business acumen and get to network with various levels of Executive leadership.  This paid internship is based on site in Chicago, IL.

About the Team:

You will join Motorola Mobility's Platform Systems Engineering and Architecture team, where we optimize performance for our diverse product line. Our team focuses on leveraging innovative tools and architectures to enhance device functionality. As an intern, you'll collaborate on projects that directly improve user experiences, gaining practical skills in systems engineering and architectural design. This role offers a unique chance to see your work contribute to advancements in mobile technology.

Description and Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Summer 2024 Intern to join our team and assist with building innovative device optimization solutions.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with our talented engineering professionals, engage in problem-solving, review and gain essential knowledge of Android, Linux and software system architectures.

Primary Responsibilities:

End-to-end automated tools development

Python, data analytics, data visualization

Android App development, as applicable

Software systems architecture

Basic Qualifications:

Current enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in computer science or a related field.

Experience with Python, Linux, and a clear understanding of software systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Android/Kotlin/Java app development

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software

Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
