Description of Internship Program
Sakira is seeking remote analyst interns to support its efforts in researching, sourcing, valuing, and acquiring a privately-held company. Analysts will be involved in all aspects of the process by which private middle-market companies are bought and sold. This internship is a hands-on learning experience and an opportunity to acquire valuable experience in transaction execution, an excellent precursor to a career in investment banking or private equity.
Analysts will be expected to work an average of 30 hours per week for 12 weeks, with the opportunity to extend the internship through the fall semester in the case of exceptional performance. Though the internship is unpaid and students are not entitled to full-time employment at the end of the internship, it will be designed for students to receive course credit and/or valuable real-world experience and mentorship in preparation for careers in high finance.
