Summer Communications Intern

In this position, the intern will assist in all communication efforts of the company. Working closely with the team, the intern will be exposed to various aspects of communications including content writing, web design, graphic design, video production, and broadcast communications. The intern will also provide support in marketing initiatives. 

SELECTED RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing support in content strategy and development by researching, drafting, and editing
• Assisting in updating information on the company website (that is hosted on Squarespace)
• Managing the communications plan and calendar
• Creating graphics and producing videos to support social media posts
• Copyediting existing written material

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in Canva/other design software, and video production software
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly, in addition to the ability to learn new programs quickly
• Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Genuine interest in the Internal Communications profession as a career option

Note: The intern will be offered academic credit for this internship.
