Art Consultant

The Wendover Art Consultant will have a significant role in fostering new client relationships and growing existing relationships which directly impacts the Company’s overall performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage key relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and designers at national retail customers
  • Source art through multiple channels to build artwork programs
  • Manage artist relationships and license agreements with artists
  • Develop program artwork for national retail, independent retail, and high-end design accounts
  • Employ use of studio arts to create and enhance pieces of art
  • Interpret and reinforce design concepts through artwork selection and graphic manipulation
  • Construct and present design and imagery presentations to client specifications
  • Create detailed artwork specifications of selected pieces and work with team throughout the pricing process
  • Represent Wendover Art Group at tradeshows, client meetings and industry events

What Else Do We Look For?

  • 1-3 years of experience in Fine Art, Studio Arts or other Design focused roles
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Art History, Studio Art, or other related Art or Design fields
  • A personal passion for art and design
  • Ability to develop art trend boards based on aesthetic objectives
  • Ability to provide and interpret art direction to achieve a desired aesthetic
  • Entrepreneurial and inquisitive mindset with a passion for doing things right all the time
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under multiple competing deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a consistently heavy workload with precision
  • Driven and competitive in spirit with a team first mentality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Basic skills of Photoshop and InDesign is preferred
