Social Media Specialist

Miami Beach-based Commercial Real Estate Company is looking for a Social Media Specialist to manage all social media activities. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company. 

As a Social Media Specialist, we expect you to be up-to-date with emerging media trends and topics in the field of commercial real estate. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. 

 

Responsibilities include

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification
  • Plan, create, publish and share new content (including original text, image and video) daily that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness and encourages community members to engage with the brand and grow following
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop social media campaigns
  • Optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign, then use that information to refine future campaigns
  • Improve our network by interacting with industry professionals and brands via social media
  • Develop incentives on social media platforms to attract business, drive traffic to Company’s website and enhance online “buzz” for followers to act on, check-in, share, re-tweet and comment
  • Monitor and measure social media efforts and report back
  •  Travel to various locations for on-site photo and video content creation

Job Type

This is a full-time position. You will be expected to commute to our Miami Beach, FL location.

Experience

  • Social Media Management: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working on social and digital campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write with a strong voice, without typo or delay.
  • Ability to seek out information in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Ability to work with a team on a daily basis.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Social media and digital marketing platforms
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) a plus
