College Internship Program

Information:

At NVEEE, part-time (approx. 25-34 hrs/week) and full-time (approx. 35-40 hrs/week) internships are available year-round and can be entirely virtual or hybrid. Students may choose to receive volunteer or academic course credits for the internship.

Students seeking the option to receive course credit should inquire with their academic advisor. We will work with the student and college advisor on achieving desired learning outcomes and completing all necessary paperwork. Additionally, please note that this is an unpaid opportunity. 

Marketing and Communications Committee

Committee Description:

The Marketing and Communications Committee will assist in implementing the marketing components for NVEEE’s strategic plan.

Members of this committee must have a commitment to assisting NVEEE in building strong relationships within diverse communities, including ones that have been traditionally under-resourced and under-represented, LGBTQIA+ populations, BIPOC, and beyond.

Subcommittees:

  • Marketing and Public Relations
  • Social Media Content Creation
  • Creative Services
  • Content Writing and Copy Editing
  • Website Development/Maintenance (WordPress)

General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing strategies to expand marketing efforts through various channels and reach a larger audience.
  • Collaborating with the creative committee to create an annual marketing calendar and social media posting schedule.
  • Creating a database of websites and advertisement services we can utilize to promote our programs and events.
  • Learning about Google Ads and SEO.
  • Collaborating with Creative Services Committee to create marketing materials and social media posts.
  • Planning and writing future content, including monthly newsletters, blogs, social media content, and other ways of raising awareness.
  • Creating recruitment email campaigns for school counselors.
  • Reviewing sponsorship kit to ensure we are delivering promised marketing.
  • Advising and training other committees on brand and messaging standards.
  • Assist in writing press releases for major program announcements.
