Creative Arts/Graphic Design Intern
Job Summary: If you possess basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, have a passion for learning in a fast-paced environment, and can excel under tight deadlines, we want you!
In this role, the Intern will assist with creating captivating graphics for digital and print, as well as engaging in copywriting for social media, newsletters, and website content. Your creativity and dedication will shine as you work on diverse projects and gain valuable hands-on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Art Director to assist in day-to-day operations.
- Assist in creating and manipulating graphics for print.
- Participate in managing our Social Media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, by creating and scheduling engaging content.
- Conduct design research and gather inspiration for new layouts and creative ideas.
- Assist with paper printing and cutting tasks.
- Maintain organized files and records of design assets and project materials.
- Assist in creating monthly newsletters.
- Adjust Graphics and designs as needed.
Qualifications:
- College Junior of Senior
- College Freshman-Senior
- Basic knowledge with the adobe suite.
- Ability to work as a Team
- Strong Research and organizational skills
- Major in an Artistic field
- Familiarity with Social Media Platforms.
- Ability to effectively multitask.
Required Training and/or preparation:
- Gulfstream Goodwill General Orientation Session
- Successful completion of background screening
- Philanthropy and Development Department Internship Training
