Investment Banking Summer Analyst (Full-Time & In-Person Internship)
The Peakstone Group is an investment bank that specializes in mergers and acquisitions advisory and capital raising. Peakstone was founded on the belief that middle market companies and their owners need and desire high quality advisory services and execution. Peakstone is currently seeking Investment Banking Summer Analysts to support our team. Investment Banking Summer Analysts should be available to work full-time and in-person in our Chicago office for the duration of their internship, with a flexible start date in June and ending in August 2024.
As an Investment Banking Summer Analyst you will:
- Participate in the M&A deal process and assist in execution
- Analyze companies, industries, historical financial statements and other relevant data
- Build financial models and perform valuation analyses
- Draft proposals and client facing materials
- Assist in identifying appropriate investors and/or strategic and financial buyers
- Manage and execute due diligence
Qualifications:
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting or related discipline with outstanding academic record
- Experience with valuation, modeling, and financial statements analysis
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly as part of multiple teams and autonomously
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
