Program Summary:

Lennar’s Technology Recent College Grad (RCG) Program is a 1-year paid entry-level program beginning in July for recent college graduates in which associates engage in significant projects, leveraging next-gen technology to provide innovative solutions across the company, industry, & beyond. The program will facilitate participants’ development of essential interpersonal and technical skills, and position associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Associates will work alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to impactful projects. Participants will quickly become immersed in Lennar’s culture through onboarding (including a visit to a Lennar Community); additional development & leadership exposure will occur through on-the-job and supplemental training, mentorship, a team project, and team outings & networking events. Upon program completion, high-performing RCGs will have an opportunity to be promoted within their current role or another internal role within Technology. Candidates should be willing to work on-site 5 days per week (~40 hours).

 


Responsibilities

 

 

After applying to the RCG program, if selected, applicants will be chosen based on their skillset to interview and assume one of four roles:

  • Developer: gain hands-on experience developing quality and scalable software solutions using leading-edge technologies
  • Technical Analyst: collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement technical solutions that align with our customers’ objectives
  • Business Analyst: play a pivotal role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing data-driven solutions
  • Project Analyst: define and manage projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of technology teams from strategy development to execution


Qualifications

 

Candidate Expectations:

Education & Experience

  • Current college senior planning to graduate between December 2023 to May 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Business Management, or similar degree of relevance
  • Completion of Lennar Technology Internship or other relevant technology internship with strong performance (preferred)

Developer

  • Experience using programming language(s) such as Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, C# or C++
  • Experience with application frameworks e.g., Angular, Oracle, ASP.NET
  • Ability to gather and translate internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications as well as business process reengineering
  • Ability to code solutions, unit tests, and ensure solutions can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clean, robust, and well-tested interfaces
  • Experience with delivery/release events e.g., release notes, branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution

 

Technical Analyst

  • Knowledge of programming language(s) such as Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, C# or C++
  • Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms and SQL databases
  • Experience performing routine system administrator functions such as maintenance/updates, system backups, provisioning, roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups
  • Experience participating in new technology upgrades and testing of system enhancements
  • Experience with delivery/release events e.g., release notes, branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution

 

Business Analyst

  • Ability to understand business needs and provide possible solutions to internal stakeholders, clients, and customers e.g., soliciting requirements by conducting interviews, performing data and document analysis, surveys, shadow sessions etc.
  • Ability to research potential business opportunities and/or changes to meet business goals within budget
  • Ability to write requirement specifications using language that is clear, concise and encompassing for a diverse audience
  • Ability to participate in new technology upgrades and testing of system enhancements
  • Experience compiling and analyzing metrics to identify trends and efficiencies

 

Project Analyst

  • Experience performing project management duties e.g., creating and documenting processes, developing timelines, milestone tracking, KPI tracking, communicating action plans
  • Ability to ensure projects adhere to defined scopes and timelines
  • Ability to coordinate meetings, track action items, create presentations and visuals to assist with documenting business requirements and act as a liaison
  • Ability to compile and analyze metrics to identify trends, efficiencies and potential opportunities
  • Experience managing a wide variety of complex tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting multiple deadlines

 

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incument to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. Travel to different locations by air or car is required.
