Azure Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Azure Specialist with a strong background in Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), and IT security. The successful candidate will play a key role in migrating laptops and desktops to Azure AD, managing remote workstations and backups, ensuring seamless file sharing, and providing support for a diverse mix of Windows 10 and Mac systems. This position will require a deep understanding of both Windows 10 and Mac systems, including user support, security configuration, and policy management. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for implementing CIS benchmarks and maintaining IT security standards and policies. Managing OS and software updates on servers and endpoint devices will also be a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate laptops and desktops to Azure AD, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Manage remote workstations and backups in both Office 365 and on endpoints to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor and manage remote workstations to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance with company policies.
- Implement and maintain secure file sharing solutions.
- Provide user support for both Windows 10 and Mac desktops and laptops.
- Configure and manage user and security policies on Windows and Mac platforms to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Implement and document CIS benchmarks and ensure compliance.
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices in IT security.
- Manage OS and software updates on servers and endpoint devices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically Azure Active Directory.
- Proficiency in supporting a mix of Windows 10 and Mac systems.
- Familiarity with remote workstation management and backup solutions.
- Proficiency in configuring security settings and managing policies.
- Experience with CIS benchmarks and their implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of IT security principles and practices.
- Ability to develop and implement IT security policies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure certifications, IT security, etc.).
- Experience with server and endpoint device management.
- Familiarity with cloud-based file sharing and collaboration tools.
