Human Resources Intern:

Position Overview:
Novelis in Uhrichsville has an opportunity to participate in our on-site summer 2024 internship. The team is seeking a Human Resource Intern that can join the team for approximately 12 weeks. The person in this role will have the opportunity to participate in relevant work and gain hands on industry experience. The intern will report to the HRBP and will gain experience with Special projects, Data Entry, Filing, Communications with the union and salary work force, and participation with safety walks.
Responsibilities:
- Report out on projects to HR team.
- Responsible for seeking out data and do research to complete your project.
- Investigate areas where improvements can be made.
- Work with HRBP to analyze and brainstorm potential employee initiatives.
- Communicate weekly newsletter.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University.
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate.
- Interested in gaining hands-on industry experience prior to graduation.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer students majoring in Human Resources.
- Solid business insight
- High interest in becoming a HR professional in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
