Rendering Engineer Intern (Remote)

Are you passionate about creating stunning visual experiences for designers around the world? Would you like to contribute to new projects that will impact our internal rendering engine and the experiences of Vectorworks users across our suite of products?

This internship offers the opportunity to shape the future of Vectorworks by exploring cutting-edge ideas, enhancing our software, and sharing fresh perspectives. Depending on your interests you can work on optimization, photorealistic rendering, or image creation using new AI tools. Your contributions will make a significant impact by extending the boundaries of what Vectorworks can achieve.

The Rendering Team specializes in the implementation and maintenance of low-level graphics algorithms for real-time rendering on GPUs targeting DirectX and Metal, on use of Maxon's Redshift API for photorealistic image generation, and on live model-change synchronization to external rendering applications such as Unreal Engine powered Twinmotion.
