Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and delivery of the marketing and communications activity of UCP of Central Florida.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  1. Generate and implement strategies to increase awareness for UCP within all of its target constituencies with a particular emphasis on growing brand awareness for potential students and team members including visiting referral sources.
  2. Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, fundraising events, social media, and content marketing.
  3. Create and distribute a monthly digital Parent Info and Resource Newsletter and also e-blasts as needed.
  4. Assist in the creation, editing, publishing, and sharing of blogs, website updates, press releases and social media content that builds meaningful connections and encourages families, potential team members and other stakeholders to engage with UCP.
  5. Assist in creation of video scripts/production.
  6. Visit campuses/work with campus teams to identify and write engaging stories that showcase our students, team members and volunteers.
  7. Assist in the creation of graphic elements.
  8. Order and keep an inventory of promotional materials ready for use/coordinate other marketing material ordering and delivery.
  9. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in students, new team members, volunteers, and donors.
  10. Perform research on competitors, market trends, digital trends, and social media and make recommendations.
  11. Maintain designated KPI and other required reports.
  12. Attend and assist in the coordination of community engagement events.
  13. Attend and support UCP Fundraising Events
  14. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Training: 

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, Design, Digital Media, Communications, or related field preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience writing press releases/social media content and blogs/newsletters.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Willingness to learn other programs (Training will be provided)
  • Understanding of and interest in digital marketing/social media.
  • Ability to multi-task/strong organization and time management skills.
  • Experience in video production preferred.
  • Story Teller—Able to tell the story of UCP in effective, creative, and innovative ways.
  • Results Driven – able to focus on achieving targeted results.
  • Prefer experience generating referrals for a school or similar type of setting.
