Pharmaceutical Industry Technical Sourcer

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good judgment, tact and diplomacy with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to follow corporate policies and maintain confidentiality essential.
  • Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position.
  • Ability to quickly understand training which includes software and database utilization, and job functions in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent work ethic and accuracy in reporting work hours.
  • Enrolled in Bachelor's degree in Science.  Minimum availability of 15 hours/ week.
  • Ability to flex hours depending on needs.  Generally the position starts out with fewer hours until the employee is trained and can work more independently.  After the employee is trained, work hours can be up to 40/week.  If you are already a full time employee, you can start with us full time.
  • Potential for students to become full-time employees after graduation
  • Location in California is required
  • US work status is required

  • Possibility of advancement to the Recruiter level based upon performance
  • Search databases to find qualified candidates for assigned jobs by matching the job descriptions to the candidate's profiles
  • Notify internal recruiting team when receiving questions or responses so that follow-up occurs
  • Coordinate advertising (paper, internet, recruiters) of jobs
  • Interacts with varying levels of candidates requiring the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
  • Effectiveness in this role requires a functional knowledge of and compliance with corporate operations, product line and policies -- which is part of corporate training provided.
  • Performs routine duties independently with instructions given on new projects or assignments.
  • Encounters recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm, involving a diverse scope and moderate degree of complexity.
