Spring 2024 Hospitality | Event Planner Internship
Description of Intern Position: Intern would assist head planner with day to day office duties. Daily tasks include: telephone and email interaction with clients; conferring with chosen vendors to coordinate event details; prepare and distribute proposals and contracts; research wedding trends and blogging topics; update spreadsheets in computer database; perform necessary coordination duties at scheduled weddings and events. ________________________________________________________________________
Qualifications:
Applicants must be creative, professional, and capable of working in a fast-paced industry. Reliable transportation is required. Position requires 10 to 15 hours per week including predetermined nights and weekends. This is a non-paid internship opportunity. Length/availability: Semester or longer
Pay: non-paying intern with potential bonuses
