Job Title: E-Commerce Associate
Compensation: $18-23 an hour
Summary: The e-Commerce Associate will execute marketing and merchandising related tasks to help drive sales and improve website performance. This is an entry-level role where we will train and develop you to hone your skills in all aspects of e-Commerce. It’s a great opportunity for someone who is hungry to learn, eager to contribute, and wants to develop a strong career path in e-Commerce.
Key Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Execute marketing and merchandising tasks across multiple aspects of the online business, including: email marketing, SMS marketing, paid search, paid social, affiliate marketing, loyalty and product set-up and optimization.
- Build and deploy emails and SMS messages, including collecting assets and building audience segments.
- Drive programs to grow customer email and SMS lists

Optimize email and SMS performance
- Update existing content to ensure accuracy, relevancy, mobile-friendliness and UX;
- Maintain the promotional calendars and oversee the execution of all promotional events and activities, including; setup, pricing, and related content plans;
- Update and maintain website merchandising & building collections;
- Learn to use website analytics and reporting tools to help optimize the online business;
- Set up discount codes for promotions
- Day-to-day website maintenance:
- Create & build site themes;
- Maintain the website including: updating digital assets, improving UX, SEO optimization and overall site visitor experience;
Opportunities for Growth:
- Partnering on development and execution of new ideas
- Providing recommendations on promotions and clearance opportunities to maximize profitability
- Monitoring and report on performance trends; dive deep into the data to proactively identify trends, behaviors, and opportunities to provide actionable insights and identify new opportunities

Managing relationships with external venders.
- Email/SMS provider, Loyalty provider, Product Review provider, Paid search provider and other 3rd party service providers;
- Managing product launch calendars and coordinate with other Vida teams to ensure all styles launch on time and accurately.
- Working closely with broader Marketing and e-Commerce teams to gather requirements, establish timelines and schedule site updates based on promotional calendar
- Providing analysis to arm the Marketing, Merchandising, and Planning teams to make informed decisions.
- Collaborating with graphic designers to improve usability of site content and to keep the site looking fresh

- Strong computer skills; Excel knowledge preferred.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Team player mentality; willing to work in a highly collaborative approach, managing multiple competing priorities and assignments.
