
Grant Manager
The Post Award Grants Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the success of St. John's Episcopal Hospital's grant funding strategies. This position will be responsible for monitoring, reporting and disseminating information on grant funded programs and capital projects.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret and ensure compliance with funder rules, regulations, guidelines, etc. and assist project director/program director in award compliance.
- Assist with grant orientation/kick-off meetings for new program/project directors on policies, forms, and procedures required for grant funded projects.
- Prepare funding agency reports, working with the program/project director, Finance department and the Grants Manager.
- Act as a liaison with government agencies related to post award activities.
- Review and prepare information and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop data collection systems.
- Establish and maintain calendar of reporting and closeout reminders for funded projects/programs, work with program/project directors on all required reports.
- Participate in audits and preparation for audits.
- Monitor for compliance issues regarding grantor agency regulations, and disallowances. Assist in correcting discrepancies and monitor corrective actions.
- Performs closeout of awarded projects.
- Maintain necessary records, files, reports, databases, and resource materials pertinent to grants office activities.
- Report to the Director of Grants Management and works as a team with other grants office staff, including the Grant Manager.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
