Front-end Web Developer Internship

THIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY WITH A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION

 

Responsibilities

Successful candidate will work closely with staff to provide website design, development, testing, management and support of the hardware/software infrastructure for a web project. Candidates will learn about industry standard quality assurance practice, static site generation, and source control.

Essential functions will include, but not be limited to:

  • Working with staff to ensure ensure timely and successful deliveries.
  • Working with clients and review panels to identify recommendations for the appropriate technical, business and human factors solutions.
  • Develop and maintain web-enabled capabilities and custom applications.
  • Work with staff to fix html issues and errors.
  • Work with staff to develop CSS templates.
  • Learn about industry standard agile development processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience or interest in analyzing business product needs, recommending, then possibly implementing, effective software solutions in a timely manner.
  • Experience or interest in analyzing core standards for software development, learning agile development process.
