What you will be doing

You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to join the Information Management team at the US Final Assembly Line. In this role you will be supporting the manufacturing of the A220 and A320 commercial aircrafts, and be involved in:

The IM for Operations - Digital Program in Airbus North America is responsible for supporting the IM for Operations Domain by directly managing multiple Projects focused on IM for Operations Solutions and Products.

Responsible for the end to end production/application lifecycle for IM for Operations domain projects, from conception, design, industrialization and implementation. The Global Graduate will work closely with the IM Product Manager and IM Products & Service Line Manager to create project documents, manage project progress, and drum-beat projects through deployment to run mode.
 

Graduates will have 4 rotations through various departments in support of IM. 

The rotations will be customized and designed according to the skillsets and interests of each participant, and the needs of the business across the A220 and A320 lines. The goal of the program is to introduce participants to several IM roles throughout an aviation production facility. Graduates of this program will get a big picture view of the Mobile Manufacturing Site and how all of the pieces come together to deliver industry-leading commercial aircrafts.

Attainment of a Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English). Conversational level French is a plus, but not required.

A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.

A desire to drive your own learning, ask questions, and continuously learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced commercial manufacturing environment.

The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
 

What you will need to apply

Education:

Required: Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Computer Science/Engineering or related field.

A strong curriculum emphasis on industrial, mechanical, and structural engineering would be beneficial, but is not required.

A Master's Degree in Engineering and/or a minor in Computer Science would be beneficial, but is not required.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and six sigma principles

Project leadership experience and familiarity with project milestone planning

 

Specific Experiences / Interests:

Maximum of three years relevant work experience.

Basic knowledge of project management, supply chain management and lean manufacturing.

Interest in growing your career in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Proficiency with G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Apps Script).

Coding in Python would be beneficial but not essential to apply.
 

 Eligibility:

To be eligible for this position, you must be able to work in the US without a current or future need for visa sponsorship.
 

 Relocation:

A modest relocation package is available for this position for those who qualify based on location. By applying, you agree to be located in the job location by June 16th, 2024.
 

 Start Date:

For the US AGGP positions, you must be able to start June 17th, 2024. Any exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis and must be listed in the cover letter.
 

 Travel:

As part of the development plan for this position, travel may be required for 5% of this position.
