Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile individual who can excel in both journalism and content creation while coordinating multimedia efforts to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting and Storytelling:

• Conduct interviews and gather information from individuals affected by nonprofit fraud and illegal evictions.

• Craft compelling and empathetic stories that highlight experiences and challenges.

• Research and fact-check stories for accuracy.

Content Creation:

• Design web content, documents, and social media assets to effectively convey our mission and stories.

• Collaborate with the team to develop multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and infographics.

• Edit and proofread written content for clarity and consistency.

Social Media Management:

• Manage our social media accounts to promote our mission and engage with our audience.

• Develop and execute social media strategies to increase reach and impact.

• Monitor social media trends and engagement metrics to optimize content.

Web and Document Design:

• Create visually appealing web pages, documents, and presentations to convey stories and findings effectively.

• Ensure our online presence is engaging and user-friendly.

Qualifications:

• Current journalism or communications student, recent graduate, or relevant experience in journalism, reporting, content creation, or social media management.

• Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to convey experiences empathetically.

• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and web design platforms.

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.

• Passion for social justice and a commitment to our mission of exposing nonprofit fraud.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
