Summer 2024 Marketing and Business Development Internship

Waldron Private Wealth (Waldron) is looking to bring on a creative, critical thinking and organized student as a Marketing and Business Development Intern.This Intern will work closely with the Business Development (BD) team learning the ins and outs of the day-to-day activities which may include supporting the generation of revenue through project management and coordination, digital marketing support, direct target marketing support, and other internal activities.

 

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with the Business Development team to execute required responsibilities.
  • Coordinate initiatives which support the strategic direction of the overall team.
  • Perform market research and analysis to identify industry trends, best practices, and product needs.
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones.  
  • Support the planning and execution of firm events, advertising, and promotional efforts.  
  • Use Salesforce (CRM) and other firm internal software to enter and update firm records and generate reports.
  • Manage social media accounts by coordinating posts, messaging, and responses; generate and maintain mailing lists.
  • Support philanthropic events by providing on-site coordination of activities and materials.  
  • Act as an ambassador of marketing and business development inside and outside the firm. 

 

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a degree (Associate's/Bachelor's/Master's/etc.).
  • Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer months required.
  • Ability to commit to a multi-semester internship required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from our office in Bridgeville, PA, Plymouth, MI, and Wayne, PA required.
  • Candidates wishing to work out of our Plymouth, MI or Wayne, PA office will be required to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA during the summer months. Housing stipend will be provided. 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, communication skills, and worth ethic required.
