Nurse Externship (Winter)

The 4-week Accelerated Nursing Externship at Holy Spirit Medical Center, is a hands-on clinical skill building program for nursing students to take place over winter break (December 18, 2023 - January 13, 2024). Externs are required to work a minimum of 12 hrs. per week (but are permitted to work up to 40 hrs. per week) and must work a total minimum of 48 hours over a 4-week period. The program will orient nursing students to an assigned unit in which the nurse extern performs basic bedside care and selected nursing procedures. Applicants must have one clinical semester completed by the time the Externship begins.
